Tonight and into tomorrow, people from all over Grays Harbor will be walking to fight cancer. Last year's benefit raised an incredible amount--nearly $500,000. This year it should go even higher, due to remarkable commitment by all involved--walkers in the relay have to raise $150 just to enter--and also to the presence of the Mike Dean Project, medically proven to lift spirits with its unique blend of rock, blues, jazz, funk, and Bavarian Volksmusik. Off to drum I go.
No, we really don't play Bavarian folk music. I wish we did.
