ch-ch-changes. ch-ch-ch-chia?

In anticipation of the summer, a photo from last summer's up on the profile. Also, a new blog joins the roll: random_speak, by L.

It's also rumored that I'm going to speak at graduation this year. The ASB advisor said I was on the shortlist of six, and everyone else has an excuse. I welcome all stress.

Why not give the same speech John McCain did? If it worked for Columbia, the New School and Falwell U, then it's probably pretty darn versatile and probably not out of steam yet either. It's not as if you'd be plagiarizing McCain either. Who knows who wrote that thing.

murky, there are less contemptible people to borrow from. Incidentally, the last time I spoke at a graduation, I created a mash-up of letters to the editor. Plagiarism, but in a good way.

karan, you should drop in and visit her, air your thoughts face-to-face. Anyhow, I'm more concerned about the big shoes I might have to fill, given the last two faculty speakers.

Here's some inspiration from a rock star.

Thanks, Peter. I would do well to emulate his self-effacing humor--but I don't think I'll speak for quite so long.
