a taste of Montana's Nevada City Music Hall
Ever since I was a kid, the absolute high point of our various Montana vacations through the Virginia City / Bannock area was Nevada City's Music Hall. For anywhere from a penny to four quarters you can listen as Scott Joplin's ghost haunts a player piano, watch a peep show on a nickelodeon, find out if you're a cold fish or a raging flirt, or hear some of the worst renditions of old-timey music ever programmed into a band organ.
Tangent: programming these sorts of monstrosities has been a passion of nerds ever since ancient times.
