Just when I've recovered from my latest outbreak of curmudgeonism, the DSL starts going in and out. A tech is coming out tomorrow afternoon to check the line, but that means another day of spotted and inconstant service.

After fighting with Qwest for over a year trying to get decent DSL service (endless technician visits, replacing lines, modems, routers, etc.) it turned out to be them. Service was sporadic and usually go out for a few hours just when I needed it, it would slow to snail speed for days, etc. I was spending so much time on the phone and wasting so much time with them, I went to Cable. It's been flawless. What a difference!
