I'm afraid that proof just doesn't cut the mustard for me. I'm from the show-me state. Maybe I'll check back in a few years and see how many nines that blogger has up then. Anyway, it's a matter of principle. We don't want beagles and box turtles marrying, saying a bunch of nines are equal to one is certainly no help there.

This is the reason I hate math. They fool me into thinking I understand something, then pull the rug out from under me.
pouw, that's why I gave up polynomials for poetry. Good luck on your China trip--keep stopping by here, if you can.
