Doubters, silence. The Seahawks crushed the Panthers in grand fashion, dominating on both sides of the ball en route to a 34-14 victory and their first-ever trip to the Super Bowl. Matt Hasselbeck couldn't miss. Shaun Alexander scored two TDs. And the defense--the defense!--picked off Delhomme three times and made Steve Smith pout like a chump.
After thirty years, the dream is reality. Believe in these guys.

Yeah, I was wrong. But hey--a wrong pick is better than no pick (unless there's money on the line).
Ouch--that's right, you had $150 riding on the outcome.
Point taken. Hawks beat the Steelers 21-17. (I write this knowing full well it is the kiss of death for the franchise, given my usual disastrous prognosticating.)
Woo-hoo!
To be clear, I hadn't bet $150 on the Panthers to win the SB. I had bet $10 on them to win $150 if they did.
Still no pick. I need to see what Pgh's run defense has been up to lately before making a pick.
You mean you think about your picks in advance?
