Regarding your post over at VD, no, women have not always voted for Democrats. If only women had voted in 1960, Nixon, not Kennedy, would have won. I also believe they were more supportive of Eisenhower than were men.

In VD's own post, the quote he uses from the History channel notes that men were more likely to support the Communists (KPD).

He'll never acknowledge any of this though. He is not interested in rational discussion.

I'd like to think that Vox, like anyone, is capable of discussing the issue of suffrage in a rational way. He hasn't called me any names, and has attempted to answer my objections, so we'll see.

At any rate, his arguments take on the appearance of being merely for shock value, rather than carefully-considered positions.

Capable, quite possibly. Interested? Highly doubt it.
